Husteon Mesh is a "class 4 medical device" used to repair craniofacial defected area.
It is a material with excellent biocompatibility which has less inflammatory reaction after implantation, and smoothly facilitates cell or nutrient exchange with surrounding tissues in the body.
After transplantation, when certain period of time pass by, it induces the production of extracellular matrix, such as collagen, and contributes to the reconstruction of damaged tissues.
Afterwards, since the high polymer PCL is finally decomposed into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) by hydrolysis and released outside the body, the second operation for removal is not necessary.
Husteon is produced using a 3D printer at the internal clean room according to GMP standards, and has various sizes and strengths which can be selectively used for defective areas.
